Contemporary dance is where I find my flow, and I want you to find yours too. We move beyond just steps, focusing on emotional storytelling, floor work, and connecting deeply with the music and the people around us.

About Contemporary & Soulful Expressions

In my contemporary sessions, we don't just memorize choreography; we explore the lyrics and the rhythm to tell a story with our bodies. Whether we are working on floor transitions or fluid arm movements, the goal is to leave the studio feeling lighter and more connected to the music than when you walked in.

I designed these classes to be a space for self-expression, regardless of your dance background. We spend time on warm-ups that focus on muscle engagement and isolation, preparing the body to move with grace and intent. When we get to the choreography, I select tracks from artists like Prateek Kuhad or Anuv Jain because they carry the kind of raw emotion that makes for beautiful, expressive movement.

What we focus on

  • Foundations: We work on weight distribution, floor work, and finding lines in your movement.
  • Emotional Connection: Dance is how I process my own emotions, and I encourage you to use this space to do the same.
  • Community: You will see a lot of duets and group work in these sessions. My classes at studios like Vins Dance Company and DNA Dance N Addiction are all about the 'fam' we build together.

Who is this for?

If you have ever wanted to dance but felt like you needed 'formal' training to start, this is for you. My classes are inclusive, judgement-free, and beginner-friendly. We do regular, progressive batches where we track your growth and help you level up your technique over time.

We also do dedicated sessions for conceptual filming. Sometimes we take the vibe out of the studio and into the real world, shooting at unique locations to capture the art we create. Come ready to sweat, laugh, and honestly, just let go.

I am Junaid, and for me, dance is simply how I survive the madness. I have built this community as a space where everyone feels like family, whether we are sweating through hip-hop drills or getting emotional with contemporary lines.
