About On Tour & Special Programs
When I run an intensive like Rush 101 or the Kings and Queens tour, the focus shifts from a casual drop-in to serious growth. We spend more time on formations, stage presence, and the nuances of the performance, not just the steps. You get to push your limits in a supportive group, and we always end with a proper showcase where everyone gets to shine.
Beyond the Drop-In
There is a big difference between a quick workshop and a performance intensive. While my regular classes are about vibes and learning the basics, my touring programs and the 2-Month Performance Intensive are for those who want to get serious about their craft. We are not just learning steps. We are working on stage presence, formation changes, and the art of telling a story through movement.
Where We Groove
I have been fortunate enough to take my workshops to cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, and across Delhi NCR. Whether it is a studio in Saket or a community space in East Patel Nagar, the goal is always to create a safe zone where you can make mistakes, trip on your feet, and get back up to machaayenge (create a storm).
What to Expect
- The Process: We move away from the 'learn one song' format and focus on progressive choreography that spans multiple sessions.
- The Community: You will meet dancers from all walks of life. We believe in hype, not competition.
- The Output: Many of these specials conclude with a professional recording of our performance.
It does not matter if you have two left feet or you are an advanced dancer. If you bring the shiddat (pure passion), we will handle the rest. I am truly grateful for every dancer who has been part of these journeys so far. Sabko dher sara pyaar.
