About Taekwondo & Self-Defense Program
We hold our Taekwondo and self-defense sessions every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at our Sector 20 studio. It is a structured, hour-long program where we focus on real techniques—from stance training to practical self-defense drills—in an environment that is built for learning, not showing off.
At Jhalak, we stripped away the intimidating parts of martial arts training. We partnered with the World Champion Taekwondo Academy to ensure you are learning correct techniques, but we keep the vibe supportive and judgment-free.
Whether you are joining to build confidence, get a serious workout, or learn how to stay safe, our curriculum covers it all. Each session kicks off with a 15-minute cardio-heavy warm-up to get your heart rate up, followed by technical training. You will learn fundamental blocks, kicks like the Roundhouse, and situational awareness drills using professional-grade gear like focus mitts and kicking paddles.
It is not just about the kicks and punches; it is about building muscle memory and self-assurance. We use professional flooring and mats to keep things safe while you practice your sparring and forms. If you are preparing for a belt exam, our advanced quarterly program includes mock tests and focused feedback to get your technique competition-ready.
