Taekwondo & Self-Defense Classes for Kids in Malviya Nagar
We focus on discipline, confidence, and self-defense, not just kicks and punches. Our Taekwondo program, led by expert Black Belt instructors, helps kids grow stronger, physically and mentally, through every belt test and championship.
A glimpse into our taekwondo class during summer camp. Students learn discipline by bowing to their instructor, practice agility with cone drills, and develop their stances and kicks in a structured environment.
Students in our taekwondo class practice their Poomsae, a defined pattern of defense and attack motions. This drill helps them master fundamental techniques with precision and power.
Our taekwondo students attend a special training session at the School of Defence to prepare for their next belt exam. This advanced training helps them refine their skills and build confidence for the test.
"Kamzor or hum?" (Are we weak?). This video captures the spirit of our young martial artists as they train with determination. An instructor assists a student, reinforcing the correct form for a powerful punch.
Watch our student, Krish Yadav, compete with focus and determination at the International Taekwondo Championship. Each match is a valuable learning experience, testing the skills honed in our classes.
Our taekwondo students take a break during the 3rd International Taekwondo Championship. Competing in an event with participants from six countries is a fantastic opportunity for growth and exposure.
Two of our students, dressed in their taekwondo uniforms with green belts, pose for a photo at the international championship venue. Their smiles reflect their pride and excitement.
A proud moment for one of our youngest students as he receives his yellow belt certificate from Priyanshi Ma'am. This marks his first major achievement in his taekwondo journey.
A young student proudly holds her certificate after successfully passing her taekwondo belt test. The wall behind her is filled with photos of other students, showcasing our growing community of martial artists.
With a smile of accomplishment, this student displays her certificate for advancing to the next taekwondo grade. Each certificate is a testament to her dedication and hard work.
About Martial Arts: Taekwondo & Self-Defense
We keep our batches small so that Chetan Sir and Priyanshi Ma’am can give personal attention to every student's form, whether it’s perfecting a Poomsae or practicing a down punch. It isn't just about training—we prioritize a safe, judgment-free space where kids prepare for official belt grading with the SOSD Foundation and build real, practical self-defense skills.
Beyond the Kicks: Building Resilience
Our Taekwondo program isn't about teaching kids how to fight; it’s about giving them the confidence to stand tall. Led by Chetan Sir and Priyanshi Ma’am, the classes are structured to help children develop focus and respect. Whether it's a junior student earning their first yellow belt or an older child preparing for an international championship, every step of the journey is about individual growth.
Certification and Progression
We are affiliated with the School of Self Defense (SOSD) Foundation, which brings a standardized, professional approach to our training. This means students are constantly working toward clear milestones, including:
- Periodic Belt Exams: Progression from white belt to black belt, ensuring students learn at their own pace.
- Technical Precision: Focus on Poomsae (patterns), sparring, and agility drills.
- Competition Exposure: We encourage students to participate in inter-school and international tournaments to test their skills and gain exposure.
A Safe Space for All
We practice on professional interlocking foam mats with wall mirrors, allowing students to correct their stances and forms in real-time. The environment is supportive—not intimidating. You will often see brothers and sisters training together or teammates cheering each other on during belt tests. We believe that when a child feels safe and understood, their physical performance naturally improves. If your child needs a boost in self-esteem or just a healthy way to channel their energy after school, we invite you to come and watch a session.
Study Skills Center
We see martial arts as a way for children to find their own identity and inner strength. Chetan Sir and Priyanshi Ma’am lead these sessions with the belief that discipline and respect matter more than just winning a fight. It is always a proud moment for us to see our students earn their next belt and walk out of the studio with a little more confidence than they had when they walked in.
