Creative and Themed Photoshoot Makeup Looks
Makeup is not just for weddings; it is storytelling. Whether it is a dramatic editorial concept or a festive mood board, I love experimenting with textures and colours to bring a theme to life.

About Creative & Themed Shoots
Creative shoots demand a different technical approach than bridal work. I adjust my base and pigments specifically for studio lighting and high-contrast photography, ensuring the look holds up under camera flashes without looking flat. It is all about the character we are trying to build.
Behind the Editorial Look
When I work on themed projects like my Heeramandi-inspired series, the goal isn't just beauty—it's accuracy and vibe. Studio lighting is unforgiving. It can wash out pigments or make textures look uneven, which is why I specifically choose long-wear, HD-compatible products for these sessions.
My Creative Process
- Concept Analysis: I start by looking at your references. Whether you want a vintage royal aesthetic or a modern, edgy editorial style, I break down the specific elements—the eye shape, the lip colour, and the skin finish.
- Flash-Friendly Base: For photography, I focus on a 'skin-like' finish that doesn't reflect light awkwardly. I avoid overly chalky highlighters that turn white in photos and instead use pigments that glow on deeper skin tones.
- Versatile Styling: My kit is stocked for range. I can pivot from soft, romantic festive looks to bold, sharp editorial lines.
I treat every shoot as a collaboration. You bring the vision or the mood board, and I bring the technical skills to make it pop on camera. If you have a specific concept in mind—or if you just want to experiment with a bold look you have never tried before—I am always excited to play with new ideas.
