Traditional ceremonies require makeup that balances elegance with endurance. I specialize in classic Muhurtham and Viratham looks that keep your skin radiant and comfortable throughout the long hours of your wedding day.

A subtle, skin-like natural base for my lovely client Pavithra's Muhurtham. We paired it with a messy floral braid for a look that is both traditional and modern.

Akshaya looking absolutely stunning for her brother’s wedding. For this traditional look, we did a bronze smokey eye and a glossy berry lip.

A close-up of Akshaya's traditional event makeup. The bronze smokey eye is blended to perfection, complementing her antique gold jewelry.

Another angle of Akshaya's beautiful look. The skin is kept radiant and fresh, allowing the focus to be on her expressive eyes and rich lip color.

A beautiful portrait of my bride and groom. For the bride, we created a royal Telugu bride look with a focus on radiant skin and traditional details.

Another shot from this beautiful outdoor wedding. The bride's makeup was designed to look fresh and flawless even in natural daylight.

My bride Harini, who flew in from London, for her Viratham ceremony. We created a soft, elegant look with warm-toned eyes and a natural lip.

Harini's smile says it all. The makeup is subtle yet defining, perfect for a traditional morning ceremony.

About Timeless Muhurtham & Traditional Styles

Muhurtham ceremonies involve long hours under bright lights, so my priority is a sweat-resistant HD foundation that holds up without feeling heavy. I focus on ensuring your skin tone remains natural and vibrant, matching your antique gold jewelry and silk saree, rather than masking your features with unnecessary layers.

A traditional South Indian wedding is a major event, and your makeup needs to look as good in person as it does in flash photography. My process starts with proper skin prep, using hydration masks and pore-filling primers to create a glass-skin base that lasts.

Why my approach is different

  • Brown Skin Focus: I steer clear of ashy tones. I use products from brands like NARS and MAC to ensure the foundation melts into your skin, enhancing your natural glow instead of covering it up.
  • Sweat Resistance: Rituals can be humid and long. I use setting sprays and techniques that lock your makeup in place, so you do not have to worry about fading while you are on the mandap.
  • Attention to Detail: Whether you want a soft, smoky eye to define your gaze or a classic matte look, I customize the eye makeup to your face shape. I also include professional saree draping and fresh flower setting, ensuring your look is polished from the braid down to the pleats.

I travel across Chennai and Bengaluru for weddings. If you have a specific vision for your Viratham or Muhurtham, let's talk about how to make it a reality while keeping you feeling like yourself.
