Commercial and Public Spaces Architecture
We design commercial buildings, offices, and healthcare facilities where functionality meets local context. From striking facade design to efficient R&D center layouts, we ensure your business space works as hard as you do.
The facade of this commercial building is fluidic and minimalistic, using glass and expanded metal as primary materials. This lends a futuristic touch to the built form, which houses retail on the ground floor and offices above.
This is a walkthrough of our design for 'Joveens Promenade', an office space overlooking a lake. We used large windows to frame the view and ensure cross-ventilation, while the brick and concrete facade creates a bold landmark.
This is our design for a color management company's R&D center. The facade is inspired by their business, with colorful vertical fins set within a neutral cube, creating a playful yet functional exterior.
The terrace of this luxury apartment in Jubilee Hills is designed as a community space to unwind. The infinity pool is positioned to overlook the lake, creating a stunning visual effect.
A sneak peek into an upcoming restro-bar project. The video shows the transition from the raw construction site, with its exposed brick arches, to the final rendered design, showcasing a chic and stylish ambiance.
We were honored to design the new Oncology wing for Nanjappa Life Care. This video captures moments from the inauguration, marking the completion of a meaningful project in the healthcare sector.
The facade of this apartment building in Jubilee Hills uses a monochromatic color palette that provides a sophisticated juxtaposition to the lush green landscape. The warm lighting creates an inviting atmosphere at night.
About this collection
For commercial facades, we often use expanded metal or glass to create 'solids and voids' that serve a purpose, such as framing specific views or managing daylight entry. This method ensures your building becomes a recognizable landmark while remaining efficient for office or retail use.
Our commercial architecture is rooted in the same principles as our residential work: the building must breathe and serve its users. We move beyond standard aesthetics to prioritize how a space performs.
Designing for Function and Identity
Whether designing an R&D center for a global company or a local office overlooking a lake, we start with site context. We look at sun paths and wind patterns to determine how to place openings. For offices, this means using large fenestrations for cross-ventilation and natural lighting, which reduces dependency on artificial cooling. For healthcare spaces, such as our work on oncology wings, we focus on interior flow and calming environments that help patients and staff.
Materiality and Landmarks
We view the facade as a communication tool. In our commercial projects, materials like brick, concrete, and expanded metal are not chosen just for style. We use them to create visual interest that defines the building's identity within the urban fabric. By varying the texture and opacity of these materials, we create a dynamic exterior that shifts with the light throughout the day.
The Human Experience
Every commercial project includes a focus on the 'unbuilt' spaces. We integrate terraces, courtyards, and gazebos to provide necessary breaks for employees and visitors. A rooftop gazebo or a shaded recreational pavilion is not an afterthought; it is a vital part of the design that encourages social interaction and connection with the environment. If you are planning a commercial development, we focus on creating a structure that is both a functional asset for your business and a meaningful addition to the city landscape.
