This double-height living room in our 'Jodi Mane' project captures my core belief in using vertical space and natural light. The large windows and skylights flood the area with sunlight, creating an airy, open atmosphere that connects the indoors with the surrounding greenery.
For the 'Chambal' restro-bar, I used a monochromatic palette of rustic red and exposed brick to create a warm, immersive dining experience. The design, including the globe pendant lights, evokes a sense of rustic celebration while maintaining a modern, open-plan layout.
A staircase should be more than just a utility; it can be the heart of a home. This suspended metallic staircase in 'Jodi Mane' is a functional sculpture, adding a bold splash of color and creating dynamic shadow play from the ample daylight.
This multi-functional library and relaxation space was designed for a family of doctors to unwind. The traditional wooden swing, open shelving, and informal seating create a comfortable, personal area that is both practical and full of character.
In the 'Wilasa' villa, I designed this terrace as a tranquil escape within an urban setting. The glass roof and abundant planters blur the line between inside and out, offering a space for relaxation that is filled with natural light and greenery.
This living room from the 'Chirantana' residence shows how minimalist design can be warm and inviting. I focused on clean lines, a mix of wood and concrete textures, and a layout that complements the home's modern architecture.
At 'Coast II Coast' restaurant, the design goal was to reflect its coastal cuisine. The continuous pinewood detailing on the ceiling and partitions, combined with a blue and beige color scheme, creates a light, contemporary, and cohesive dining environment.

About Interior Design

Why I Design

Design isn’t just about how a place looks - it’s about the vibe you get living there. At Int-Hab, I’m always thinking about how a home, café, or workspace actually feels and works for you. Every corner, light, and piece of furniture gets a reason to exist, not just to look pretty.

What Matters Most to Me

  • Functional: If the space doesn’t work for your daily life, it’s pointless.
  • Minimalist: Jyada saman nahi, sirf zaroori cheezein (Not too much stuff, just what’s needed) - that’s my style.
  • Sustainable: I pick materials that are good for the planet and make sure your home gets tons of natural light and air.
  • Practical: Dreamy designs are fun, but I keep it real and within reach.

My Process

  • Custom space planning is my thing - open layouts, double heights, nooks that make you stop and chat.
  • I play with sunlight, big windows, and courtyards to connect indoors with the outside.
  • Mixing materials like exposed brick, wood, or marble, I make sure every texture has a purpose.
  • Bespoke furniture solutions: From quirky stairs to swings, I design stuff that’s all you.

Projects I Love

  • Homes: From small apartments in Bangalore to villas in Mangalore, I bring out the personality of the people living there.
  • Commercial: Cafés and offices that don’t just work, but feel good to be in.

Where I Work

Based in Bangalore, but always ready for a project anywhere from Mysore to Chennai, Hyderabad, or even your town.

My Story

We are Int-Hab, short for Intuitive Habitat. Started back in 2012 by Sachin Shetty, we’re all about making spaces that feel like they belong. Our studio is rooted in this region, so you’ll see us mixing modern design with local vibes—think Jodi Mane in Mangaluru or Malenadu Mane. We’re a small team, big on celebrating festivals together and sweating the details. For us, every window and staircase has a story. That’s how we work.

My Work

What We Do - We design architecture, interiors, and products for homes, restaurants, commercial, and healthcare spaces.

How We Work - We balance cost, minimalism, sustainability, and function. Daylighting and cross-ventilation always matter.

Details Matter - Staircases and windows aren’t just parts—they’re interactive, useful, and part of the story.

Modern Meets Local - We blend bold, modern looks with vernacular architecture Mangaluru, using local materials like laterite and wood.
