Behind the Scenes: The Pet Relocation Process
Moving your pet involves more than just booking a flight. From clearing AQCS quarantine checks to ensuring your pet is crate-trained and comfortable, here is what goes on behind the scenes to get your furry friend ready for their next journey.
Watch my team member, Morpal, expertly assemble a travel crate. We ensure every nut and bolt is secure and that the crate is perfectly safe for your pet's journey.
A happy client with her Chihuahua at the AQCS (Animal Quarantine and Certification Service) office in Delhi. This is the final government checkpoint before international travel, and I accompany all my clients here.
In this interview clip, I explain that relocating a pet doesn't have to be prohibitively expensive. It's often comparable to the cost of one human passenger, and I work to find the most affordable, safe options.
My ultimate travel day checklist for pet parents! I provide this to all my clients to ensure they have everything they need, from documents and medicine to poop bags and a water bottle.
Meet Sandeep, the backbone of my documentation team. His precision and attention to detail ensure that every pet's paperwork, from health certificates to import permits, is absolutely perfect.

A beautiful Persian cat and her owner at the AQCS office. I handle relocations for all breeds of cats and dogs.
This traveler is taking their cat in-cabin. Even for in-cabin travel, a visit to the AQCS for an export NOC is mandatory.

About Behind the Scenes: The Relocation Process
The Animal Quarantine and Certification Service (AQCS) office is often the most stressful part of the journey, but it does not have to be. This is where I spend most of my time, navigating the back-and-forth with officials to ensure every vaccination record and health certificate is audit-ready. I handle these physical inspections for you, so you avoid last-minute surprises at the airport and keep the focus on your pet's comfort.
Moving a pet internationally is a complex puzzle, and 'behind the scenes' means handling the logistics that keep them safe. It starts with the right equipment. An IATA-compliant crate is not just a box; it is your pet's safe zone. I focus on selecting the correct fiber crates with proper water funnels and absorbent bedding, ensuring there is enough room for your dog or cat to stand and turn around comfortably. My team member, Morpal, handles the assembly, making sure every bolt is secure and the environment is stress-free long before the flight date.
Then comes the documentation. From Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre Tests (RNATT) for EU entry to CDC permits for the USA, the paperwork is where most relocations hit a snag. My team, including Sandeep, audits every document to match specific country requirements. We coordinate appointments at the AQCS office, which acts as the final gatekeeper for pets leaving India. By being there in person to facilitate these check-ups, I bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and your peace of mind. Whether you are moving a cat in-cabin or a large dog as manifest cargo, the goal remains the same: a seamless, compliant, and calm experience.
