How Air Relocation Works

When a pet travels by air, the safety standards are non-negotiable. My role is to bridge the gap between your pet's needs and airline cargo requirements.

The Process:

• Crate Setup: I provide or guide you on selecting the right IATA-compliant fiber crate. It must be spacious enough for your pet to stand and turn, but secure enough to pass airline safety checks.
• Paperwork: I manage the Fit-to-Fly certificates and airline-specific indemnity forms. Without these, pets are often denied boarding, so I verify every document beforehand.
• Cargo Booking: I coordinate with airlines like Indigo and Air India to secure cargo slots that match your travel schedule.
• The Drop-Off: I don't just hand off your pet at the gate. I arrive at the airport cargo terminal about 4 hours early to manage the X-ray screening, weighing, and security zip-tying of the crate. I personally place the water funnel and bedding to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible before the airline crew takes over.
