Getting your pet ready for a big move takes more than just paperwork. We make sure they are comfortable, crate-trained, and settled before they ever board a flight.

This video shows the four key steps for preparing your pet on travel day: ensuring crate comfort, managing their energy, feeding a light meal, and taking a long walk. I guide all my clients through this routine.

Crate training is fundamental. Here, I'm working with Django, using positive reinforcement to help him see his travel crate as a safe and comfortable den for his trip to the UK.

Buddy the pug needed to lose a little weight to be fit for his flight to the USA. I created a special fitness plan for him, which included sessions on this dog-specific treadmill.

Bruno the French Bulldog exploring the garden at my homestay. I provide a stimulating and safe environment for pets to relax and play while they wait to travel.

A glimpse into my camera roll! It's filled with happy faces of the pets who stay with me. I treat every single one like a member of my own family.

This graphic explains why crate training is so important. Even the best travel arrangements can be stressful if a pet isn't comfortable in their crate. I make this a top priority.

Simba enjoying a treat at my homestay. He stayed with me to complete his pre-travel requirements for Canada, and we made sure he felt loved and cared for.

Rolo and Robert stayed in boarding with me for five months while their family sorted out their move to Singapore. I provide long-term care when needed, ensuring pets are happy and healthy.

Pablo the pug's transformation journey! With a new diet and more "zoomies," he got fit to fly to Canada. I'm so proud of his hard work.

Parker the Golden Retriever stayed with me for a month to prepare for his move to Dublin. He even made a new friend during his stay!

About Getting Ready: Homestay & Travel Prep

Travel day is only half the battle. Many pets struggle because they see a travel crate as a cage rather than a den. At our DLF Phase 4 facility in Gurugram, we focus on crate acclimatization long before your flight date. We don't just board your pet; we condition them to feel secure in their travel environment, ensuring that when the crate door closes, they feel safe, not trapped.
