Relocating Your Pet to the UK and Europe

Every country in the UK and Europe has different entry requirements, and one wrong form can cause significant delays at the border. My goal is to make sure your pet arrives healthy and ready to settle in, not stressed by the process.

Why the process matters

When I moved Moiza to the UK or helped Parker get to Dublin, the planning started months in advance. The UK and EU have specific import permits that are non-negotiable. We start by ensuring your pet is microchipped with an ISO-compliant chip, followed by the necessary vaccinations.

The roadmap for a smooth trip

• Health Documentation: I handle the Animal Quarantine and Certification Service (AQCS) process from India. This includes physical verification and getting the official Fit-to-Fly health certificate, which must be issued in a very specific window before departure.
• Lab Coordination: For countries like the UK, the Rabies Titre test is mandatory. I guide you on when to do the blood draw and coordinate with international labs to get the results certified.
• Crate Acclimatization: A flight to Europe is long. Before the trip, we work on crate training at my homestay in Gurugram. We ensure your pet sees the crate as a safe space, not a cage, using familiar bedding and gradual conditioning.
• Flight Selection: I only book pet-friendly flight routes. Sometimes this means a stopover in a city with better facilities, or a specific airline that understands how to manage temperature-controlled cargo for animals.
