Construction & Utility
- Patterning: Custom drafting for pregnancy bumps or post-partum comfort using A-line, tiered, or pleated cuts.
- Nursing Access: Installation of two high-quality invisible zippers (10-12 inches) on the bust.
- Lining: Soft cotton (mul) lining attached to the bodice or full length based on fabric opacity.
Fabric & Finish
- Material: Includes standard breathable fabrics like Cotton, Mulmul, or Rayon prints (approx 3.5 to 4 meters).
- Features: Options for functional pockets, back-ties for size adjustment, and variable sleeve lengths.
- Alterations: One round of fit correction included within 7 days of delivery.
Mother-Daughter Matching Combo
Package Components
- Mother's Outfit: One custom-stitched Western Jumpsuit, Maxi Dress, or Indo-Western ensemble.
- Child's Outfit: One matching miniature Frock, Jumpsuit, or Gown (for age 0 to 6 years).
- Material: Sourcing of approx 5 to 7 meters of matching fabric (Solids, Georgettes, or Cottons).
Design & Sourcing
- Aesthetics: Identical design elements including sleeve ruffles, lace borders, or applique work adapted for age.
- Measurements: Individual body measurements taken for both adult and child (no standard sizing).
- Trims: Provider sources all matching zippers, buttons, and linings to ensure exact coordination.
Saree to Kids Lehenga Conversion
Service Scope
- Cutting: Strategic cutting of client-provided saree to preserve Zari borders and Pallu motifs.
- Stitching: Construction of a Pattu Pavadai (skirt) and Choli (blouse) or Lehenga set.
- Lining: Inclusion of fresh, soft cotton lining to prevent skin irritation from heavy fabrics.
Finishing & Extras
- Structure: Application of soft stiffener or canvas in the blouse for shape retention.
- Trims: Supply of necessary latkans, doris, and auxiliary borders to complete the look.
- Requirement: Client must provide the base saree; price covers labor, lining, and auxiliary materials only.

Set Configuration
- Laddu Gopal/Krishna: Includes Dhoti/Ghagra, Choli (Top), and Patka (Scarf).
- Hanuman/Others: Includes Dhoti/Langot, Upper drape, and decorative sash.
- Fasteners: Velcro or dori tie-ups engineered for easy dressing of the idol.
Materials & Craftsmanship
- Fabric: High-grade Art Silk, Brocade, or Velvet remnants.
- Embellishment: Hand or machine detailing including Gota borders, mirror work applique, or stone pasting.
- Seams: Concealed inner stitching to ensure durability during daily rituals.

- For new and expecting moms, I design maternity and nursing-friendly ethnic wear, with thoughtful details like hidden zips for easy feeding.
- Kids’ custom clothing is my jam - from personalized kids’ traditional dresses to party wear and even cute, themed pajamas.
- I also make miniature custom deity vastra (for Laddu Gopal, Hanuman ji, etc.) with real brocades, silks, and lots of detailed work. It’s a labor of love.
- Special festival or family event? I can help with matching family festival clothing or Indo-western styles with those small touches that make you smile.

Jai Shree Krishna! I’m Deepti. For me, Indian Dress Factory is pure emotion. I still think maa-ni sari (mom’s saree) is priceless, and I try to stitch that feeling into every piece. Upcycling old fabrics, making new memories - that’s my jam. Becoming a mom made me create comfy maternity dresses with hidden zips, so you can twin with your baby.
