Production & Stitching
- Complex Cutting: Strategic cutting techniques to preserve heavy embroidery for bodices or hemlines.
- Lining: Inclusion of 3-5 meters of high-quality Butter Crepe or Cotton Shantoon to provide structure and protect aged fabric.
- Hardware: Installation of concealed zippers, hooks, and basic latkans made from fabric scraps.
Finishing
- Reinforcement: Fusing applied to brittle areas to support embroidery weight.
- Final Polish: Steam pressing and folding.

For the little ones, I love using Pattu and other ethnic fabrics to make sure they look festive and comfortable.

Jai Shree Krishna! I’m Deepti. For me, Indian Dress Factory is pure emotion. I still think maa-ni sari (mom’s saree) is priceless, and I try to stitch that feeling into every piece. Upcycling old fabrics, making new memories - that’s my jam. Becoming a mom made me create comfy maternity dresses with hidden zips, so you can twin with your baby.
