Designing spaces where the interior melts into the landscape. We use large-format glass, strategic floor planning, and shared material palettes to turn your garden, terrace, or courtyard into a natural extension of your home.

This design, named "Synthesis," perfectly illustrates our philosophy of blurring boundaries. The living room's floor-to-ceiling glass walls slide open to connect directly with the lawn and an outdoor water feature.

A double-height glass wall in this living room frames the garden like a living painting. This not only floods the space with light but also makes the lush greenery an integral part of the interior decor.

This expansive rooftop terrace is designed for entertaining. It features a built-in bar with ambient lighting, extensive lounge seating, and open views, creating the ultimate outdoor social space.

The dining and kitchen area in our Hollywood Town project opens directly onto the garden. The open-plan layout and large windows ensure that daily activities are always connected to the natural surroundings.

This open-plan kitchen and dining area flows effortlessly towards the garden. The use of a consistent flooring material from the inside to the outside patio enhances the feeling of a single, unified space.

The dining area in "Casa Magnifera" is defined by a rough, natural stone wall and a full-length glass window looking out onto the garden, bringing texture and nature to the table.

This rendering shows a multi-level home designed around open-air living. A large central void is surrounded by green terraces, balconies, and covered walkways, ensuring every part of the home is connected to the outdoors.

About Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living

The transition between indoors and outdoors is a technical feat, not just a visual one. We often use consistent flooring materials from the living area to the patio, paired with floor-to-ceiling glass systems that retract completely into wall pockets. This removes the threshold, allowing for a truly unified space where ventilation and light flow without interruption.

Engineering the Connection

The goal of indoor-outdoor living is to make the architecture disappear. When we design these spaces, we analyze the sun-path and wind direction to ensure that the glass panels not only offer a view but also serve a functional purpose in passive cooling. We move away from standard sliding windows. Our preferred systems involve floor-to-ceiling glass that can retract into wall pockets, effectively opening an entire side of a room to the garden. This requires significant structural planning, including precise beam placement and lintel-free openings that maintain the load-bearing integrity of the home.

Material Continuity

A visual link is only as strong as the physical materials used. By continuing the interior floor finish, such as Italian marble or natural stone, onto the patio or deck, we eliminate the visual break that usually occurs at the door threshold. This creates a singular plane of surface that draws the eye outward, making your interior feel significantly larger.

Practical Living in Bengaluru

In the local climate, we balance the desire for openness with the need for privacy and climate control. We often design deep overhangs or cantilevered roofs. These provide shade during the summer, reducing direct heat gain while allowing soft, ambient light into the interior. Whether it is a kitchen that flows into a dining terrace or a bedroom that opens to a private green pocket, our focus is on ensuring the home remains a private sanctuary despite the open layout.
