Your home's facade is its first impression. We combine contemporary aesthetics with functional elements like louvers and stone cladding to create a dynamic, light-filled street presence.

The exterior of the Twin Courtyard House showcases a fusion of contemporary and tropical styles. The facade uses a mix of white walls, dark mustard stone cladding, and extensive greenery to create a warm and inviting modern home.

The Cube House features a double-height living space with a dramatic stone-clad wall, visible from the outside. The design uses staggered volumes and large openings to create an illusion of spaciousness on a compact plot.

This cozy seating area in the Cube House is wrapped in large windows with wooden frames. The design maximizes natural light and provides a comfortable space to enjoy the views of the surrounding neighborhood.

The living room of the Cube House opens onto a small patio. A geometric wooden screen acts as a decorative partition, adding visual interest while maintaining a connection to the outdoors.

The entrance to the Cube House reveals a small internal courtyard, which acts as a buffer between the outside world and the private home. This feature immediately introduces our theme of integrating nature into the architecture.

About this collection

Our approach to facades goes beyond curb appeal; we use architectural elements to control sunlight and privacy. Whether it is incorporating stone cladding for thermal insulation or louvered screens that allow for natural ventilation while keeping the interior private, every design is intentional. We prefer using earthy materials like wire-cut brick and natural stone that age gracefully, ensuring your home looks better with time rather than needing constant maintenance.

Architecture is a dialogue between the built form and its environment. When designing exteriors, we don't start with a 'look'; we start with the site's orientation and how light moves across the plot throughout the day.

In our Twin Courtyard House project, for instance, the facade serves as a filter. We paired dark mustard stone cladding with expansive greenery and white walls to create a warm, inviting modern home that stands out without being loud. The facade isn't just a wall; it's a layer that mediates the noise and bustle of the city while pulling light into the internal courtyards.

For the Cube House, we experimented with volume. By stacking and staggering cubes, we created a residence that feels spacious despite the compact 35’ x 40’ plot. The exterior composition uses staggered volumes to create height and drama, while large windows with wooden frames frame the view, turning the facade into a functional viewing gallery for the residents.

Common Design Elements we integrate:

  • Stone and Brick Cladding: We use materials that offer thermal mass, helping regulate indoor temperatures while adding tactile warmth to the exterior.
  • Sun-control Louvers: These allow us to manipulate light and shadow, creating dynamic patterns on the wall that change as the sun moves, while maintaining the privacy of the occupants.
  • Deep Balconies & Cantilevers: These are not just aesthetic; they protect the wall surfaces from direct rain and heat, a practical necessity in Bengaluru's unpredictable weather.

When we plan an elevation, we are thinking about how the materials will weather over the next decade. We aim for a palette that requires minimal upkeep, ensuring your home retains its character long after the construction dust has settled.
