We design spiritual spaces that blend tradition with contemporary aesthetics, using natural light and premium materials to create a serene sanctuary within your home.

This pooja room in the Twin Courtyard House is a tranquil sanctuary. It is framed by two large, reclaimed wooden pillars and features a glowing backlit onyx wall, creating a divine ambiance within an indoor garden setting.

For the Prakash Reddy residence, we designed this traditional pooja room with an intricately carved teak wood door frame. The warm lighting and classic design create a space that feels timeless and sacred.

The pooja room in the Cube House is enclosed in glass, making it a visual feature of the home. The custom-designed wooden doors with small bells and motifs add a unique, handcrafted touch to the modern design.

Our principal architect explains the design of this pooja room, detailing the use of a sleek gopuram-style roof, backlit onyx, and symmetrical wooden columns to create a modern interpretation of a traditional prayer space.

About this collection

A pooja room should not just be a separate corner; it should be a focal point that flows with your home's design. In our projects, we often use reclaimed wooden pillars from Ambur and backlit onyx walls to create a divine, soft glow. This approach allows us to retain traditional elements like gopuram-style rooflines while keeping the overall structure clean, symmetrical, and perfectly integrated into modern residential floor plans.

When we approach a pooja room design, our first step is to consider how it interacts with the living space. Instead of hiding the mandir, we look for ways to make it a calm, central feature. We often use backlit onyx stone to create a natural, ambient backdrop, which removes the need for heavy, distracting decorative elements. This keeps the space feeling open, light, and airy.

Our construction method focuses on long-term durability and functionality. We use BWP-grade plywood for internal structures and premium teak wood for pillars and frames to ensure they age gracefully. By integrating subtle LED strip lighting or utilizing natural light from adjacent courtyards, we create an atmosphere that feels sacred yet contemporary.

Whether you are looking for a standalone unit or a full-room design, we tailor the dimensions to fit your home. We pay close attention to storage, ensuring that pooja essentials are kept out of sight in veneered drawers, maintaining the room's serenity. Our designs are flexible, allowing us to adapt traditional motifs into a language that feels right for a modern Bengaluru lifestyle.
