Robotics and STEM Workshops in Navi Mumbai
See how we turn curiosity into creations. From Grade 4 to 8, our students ditch the screens to build, code, and test real robots using hands-on engineering kits.
This video captures the essence of what we do at i-RoboChakra. We recently held a two-day robotics workshop at Tilak School where students from grades 4 to 8 dove into the world of innovation. You can see them building, coding, and testing their own robots, learning invaluable skills like teamwork and problem-solving.
Collaboration is key to innovation. In this clip, you can see our students working together in small groups, sharing ideas and solving problems as they assemble and program their robots. We foster an environment where teamwork and hands-on learning go hand in hand.
This video offers a look back at our journey and the moments that define us. It shows our instructor guiding students, the excitement of testing a new robot, and the pride of being recognized for our work in STEM education.
About A Glimpse Into Our Classrooms
You won't see kids staring at screens for hours here. In our sessions, we focus on tactile building using reusable metal construction kits rather than just plastic blocks. Students handle the screwdrivers and wires, solving mechanical and logic problems in real time as they assemble everything from line-following bots to obstacle detectors.
Our approach to robotics and coding in Navi Mumbai is simple: if you can hold it, you can understand how it works. We maintain small batch sizes of 6 to 10 students, ensuring every child gets the space and guidance to experiment with our electronics kits, buzzers, and IR sensors.
What happens in our workshops
We focus on practical STEM education. Students spend their 90-120 minute sessions building functional prototypes—like line-followers or obstacle-avoiders—using metal construction strips, nuts, and bolts. This isn't just theory. They learn the logic behind coding by seeing how their inputs directly move their robots.
Connecting tech to the real world
As an ISRO Registered Space Tutor, we bring space science into the classroom. We don't just teach robotics; we connect it to how satellites and antennas work. We also love blending tradition with technology. During festivals, our classrooms become labs where students build 'Dahi Handi' bots or festive electronics, making the learning process culturally relevant and fun.
Locations and logistics
We run sessions across Navi Mumbai, including Seawoods, Vashi, Nerul, Kharghar, and Panvel. Whether you are looking for our weekend robotics batches for grades 4-8 or our short-term space tech bootcamps, the focus remains on hands-on activity. Hardware and kits are provided for use during the class, so students just need to bring their curiosity and a willingness to troubleshoot when a build doesn't go quite as planned.
