Festive Robotics Workshops for Kids in Navi Mumbai
We turn festival excitement into hands-on robotics projects. Kids build bots that celebrate tradition, from Dahi Handi mechanics to Christmas sleighs, while learning real-world coding and electronics.
Watch our students bring a cultural tradition to life with technology. Here, they are programming a "Dahi Handi Bot" for Janmashtami. This project is a perfect example of how we blend coding and robotics with Indian culture to make learning relevant and exciting.
The holiday season gets a tech upgrade in our workshops. This video shows our students completely absorbed in a Christmas-themed project, where they built and decorated a moving reindeer sleigh bot. It’s a glimpse into the joyful, creative, and collaborative atmosphere we foster in every session.
To celebrate Republic Day, our students designed and built this moving elephant robot, complete with the Indian flag. This project showcases how we integrate national pride and creativity into our robotics curriculum, empowering young minds to build for the future.
This video shows highlights from our special Diwali session. Here, students learned the basics of electronics by creating their own beautiful greeting cards that light up. It was a wonderful day of hands-on learning, creativity, and festive spirit.
This is a quick look at how we merge the magic of festivals with the logic of robotics. From a patriotic Republic Day bot to an enchanting Christmas creation, our students learn to innovate by celebrating their traditions through technology.
About Festive Robotics: Where Tech Meets Tradition
In these sessions, we trade screen time for hands-on construction. Your child won't just watch videos about robotics; they will pick up tools, connect breadboard circuits, and build functional machines from scratch. We provide all the metal kits, sensors, and electronic components, so they only need to bring their curiosity.
Our approach is simple: when kids build something that connects to their world, they learn faster. By tying technical logic to familiar themes like Diwali, Janmashtami, or Christmas, we remove the intimidation factor often associated with engineering.
What They Actually Build
During our festive workshops, students aren't just following a static manual. They are actively engaged in:
- Mechanical Logic: Constructing moving robots like our popular 'Dahi Handi Bot' or a motorized Christmas sleigh. They learn about gears, actuators, and structural balance.
- Circuit Building: Using LEDs, buzzers, and sensors to bring festive crafts to life, such as lighting up handmade greeting cards or decorating electronic displays.
- Programming Basics: Introducing movement and response patterns to their creations, bridging the gap between hardware and software.
Why This Method Works
This is not a theory-heavy environment. We keep our batches in Navi Mumbai small (6-10 students) to ensure every child gets the space to experiment and troubleshoot. When a student builds a 'Republic Day Elephant' robot, they aren't just learning motors; they are learning the satisfaction of solving a problem that exists in the physical world.
These sessions are designed for students in grades 4 through 8, though we host Family Robotics Sessions for younger children. All hardware, including the metal construction kits and electronics, is provided in-class. Whether you are in Seawoods, Vashi, or Nerul, we welcome you to join us and see how tech and tradition can coexist.
