I want kids to get their hands dirty with tech, not just stare at screens. At i-RoboChakra, we turn curiosity into real creations. Whether your child is a chatterbox or a quiet thinker, I believe every kid has something unique to build.
What Happens in Our Workshops
- Kids dive into robotics classes for kids, actually building and testing their own bots.
- Coding workshops for teens are part of the mix - they learn to make their robots move and respond.
- We play with AI basics and electronics, making stuff like glowing festival cards.
- Space technology learning for children is woven in, so they see how robots and AI connect to the stars.
How We Teach
- Everything is hands-on STEM activities. No boring lectures - we build, experiment, and mess up (sometimes!).
- Projects are tied to Indian festivals and culture. Imagine a Dahi Handi Bot or a Christmas sleigh bot - tech meets tradition.
- Kids pick up teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving without even realizing it.
Who Can Join
- Main program is for ages 8-14 (Grade 4-8).
- For younger kids, we run Family Robotics Sessions so parents can join in.

My Story
Hi, I’m Krishna Rao, partner at i-Robochakra Navi Mumbai. We kicked this off seeing kids glued to screens, so we thought - why not make that time count? We’re ISRO Space Tutors, so the workshops get pretty wild, especially when retired ISRO folks drop in. Once, even a 78-year-old joined in! That spark, whether it’s a kid building a Dahi Handi Bot or a student decoding satellite images, is what keeps us going. We’re here for the ‘aha!’ moments.
