About STEM Programs for Schools & Colleges
What I Do
I bring real-world science and tech into classrooms, not just theory. As an ISRO registered space tutor, I connect students with the kind of hands-on learning that’s usually reserved for big labs or research centers. My focus is on making STEM feel exciting and practical, not just another subject to memorize.
How My Programs Work
- For schools (grades 4-8), I run robotics workshops where kids actually build and code robots. They get to see their ideas come alive, whether it’s a festival bot or a robot for a school challenge. It’s all about project-based learning, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- For colleges, I offer tech seminars that go beyond coding basics. We talk about AI, machine learning, and even quantum computing. I also bring in industry experts, including retired ISRO scientists, to share what it’s really like working in space tech or public sector organizations.
- For campus fests, I set up interactive exhibits like 3D models of Chandrayaan-3 or AI-powered gadgets. There are also space experience zones and expert talks to keep things engaging.
What’s Unique
My Satellite Communication Workshop is led by a retired ISRO scientist. Participants get to track the ISS, decode live satellite data, and use professional SDR tools. Everyone leaves with real skills and a certificate that actually means something.
My Approach
No rote learning here. I believe in the ‘maker’s mindset’—students learn best when they’re building, testing, and sometimes failing. That’s how real innovation happens.

My Story
Hi, I’m Krishna Rao, partner at i-Robochakra Navi Mumbai. We kicked this off seeing kids glued to screens, so we thought - why not make that time count? We’re ISRO Space Tutors, so the workshops get pretty wild, especially when retired ISRO folks drop in. Once, even a 78-year-old joined in! That spark, whether it’s a kid building a Dahi Handi Bot or a student decoding satellite images, is what keeps us going. We’re here for the ‘aha!’ moments.
