Grow Your Own Hydroponic Vegetables at Home
Want to harvest fresh cherry tomatoes or crisp greens right from your balcony? I design and install soil-less systems that turn any corner of your Bengaluru home into a thriving, productive vegetable garden.
A tour of our fruiting vegetables. You can see cherry tomatoes and bell peppers ripening on the vine, a colorful sight in the hydroponic pod.
Holding up a cluster of sun-ripened cherry tomatoes. They are like little bursts of sunshine, sweet and perfect for snacking.
A view looking up into the tomato vines. The vertical space in the pod allows these plants to grow tall and produce abundantly.
A perfect head of cauliflower. It's amazing to see such a classic garden vegetable grow so beautifully and cleanly without any soil.
I like to have fun with the harvest. This head of broccoli looks just like a green ice cream cone. It's packed with nutrients and has a fantastic flavor.
These are European cucumbers, known for being seedless with a thin skin. They are a premium variety that you can grow with ease in a home hydroponic system.
A fresh harvest of light green brinjal and okra. Growing your own means you can try different varieties that you might not find in the store.
A colorful mix of freshly harvested beetroot and radish. Root vegetables also do incredibly well in our deep-channel pods.
These uniquely shaped radishes are a fun result of growing in the pebble medium. They are just as crisp and peppery as their soil-grown counterparts.
A close-up of a purple cabbage head forming. The deep purple veins are beautiful. It's growing in the same pod as many other crops, showing the system's versatility.
About The Vegetable Patch
I use a single, balanced nutrient formula that works across all my crop varieties, so you don’t need to be a chemist to manage your garden. Whether you are growing lettuce in a vertical channel or trellising cherry tomatoes, the system keeps the nutrients consistent while you handle the fun part—the picking.
Growing vegetables at home often feels like a challenge in the city, but it really comes down to the root system. My setups remove the messy soil and replace it with inert substrates like LECA or perlite, which give roots exactly what they need to thrive without the weight or dirt.
You can grow everything from leafy greens like spinach and bok choy to fruiting crops like brinjals, okra, and bell peppers. If you have the space for a rooftop polyhouse, we can even set up dedicated zones for climbing vines, complete with trellising and roller hooks for heavy feeders like cucumbers and tomatoes.
I do not just sell kits. I guide you through the transition from seed to harvest. That includes the first batch of nursery-raised saplings, the digital timers for automated irrigation, and a handover session where we cover pH testing and nutrient mixing. My goal is to get you comfortable enough to manage the garden yourself, though I am always around if you need to troubleshoot a plant or plan the next seasonal crop.
Hydrolore
I am Dr. Gowsiya. What started as a childhood fascination with how plants 'sleep' turned into a life spent studying root systems and nutrition. Now, I help city families in Bengaluru stop buying supermarket greens and start growing their own clean, chemical-free food at home.
