About Hydroponics & Urban Farming Workshops
Why We Grow
Curiosity got us hooked on plants way back in school, and it never left. We geeked out on everything from roots to nutrition, and now we just want people to feel that same buzz when they grow their own food. This isn’t just another workshop - it’s about helping you bring fresh veggies right into your kitchen, no matter where you live.
Who Can Join?
- Beginners who want a kitchen garden but don’t know where to start.
- Kids and students - you’ll actually get your hands dirty, not just watch slides.
- Chefs or restaurateurs dreaming of fresh, on-site produce.
- Anyone with a hydroponic kit who keeps Googling ‘why are my plants dying?’
What Happens Here
We break down hydroponics so it’s easy. Stuff like:
- Home hydroponics basics - how to use less water and grow chemical-free veggies.
- The full plant journey, right from sowing seeds, moving saplings, staking tall plants, pruning, and the best bit: harvesting.
- Tips for growing everything from lettuce and bok choy to strawberries and marigolds, all in tight spaces.
Experience It Yourself
You’ll be out in the greenhouse, not stuck in a classroom. We let you try every step. No fake promises - sometimes plants flop, sometimes they thrive. You’ll see it all, and walk away knowing you can actually grow your own food.

My Story
Hydrolore started from Dr. Gowsiya’s childhood wonder - plants sleep, plants live! That spark turned into years of digging into plant nutrition and root systems, then hydroponics. Not easy, lot of bumps, but family and mentors kept me going. Now, it’s us - scientists, gardeners, even Krishnappa with his cherry tomatoes. We share what we grow, from Farmlore’s chefs to kids picking strawberries. It’s not just farming, it’s community, real and messy and joyful.
My Work
