Small-batch pickles crafted with real ingredients, age-old techniques, and traditional patience—no shortcuts, just the true taste of home.

My process for making Gujarati Chhunda is a ritual, not just a recipe. I don't use shortcuts, only traditional methods like hand-shredding Rajapuri mangoes and natural sun-drying. This is how I preserve the true taste of this beloved pickle.

I started Homepick because I believe some traditions shouldn't be forgotten. For those who miss the taste of home, our pickles are a way to bring back those memories. Each jar is made with the same love and care that a mother puts into a package for her child.

Not all mangoes are worthy of being pickled. I only use Rajapuri mangoes because they have the perfect firm texture and tangy flavour that holds its crunch and soaks in all the masala. The quality of the pickle begins with choosing the right mango.

There's no better review than seeing the joy on a child's face. Our Gujarati Chhundo is sweet, tangy, and made with natural ingredients, making it a favourite for even our littlest critics. It's truly a pickle for the whole family.

Our Amba Haldi pickle is a winter essential that many people don't know about. I take you through our process of hand-picking, peeling, and slicing fresh turmeric and mango ginger to create this immunity-boosting, oil-free pickle.

"Jamva Aavo!" is more than an invitation to eat, it's a call to share a moment. A complete meal with family, friends, and a spoonful of authentic pickle is what makes food feel like home. This is the feeling I want to share with every jar.

I believe the Indian pickle market is saturated with brands that taste the same. The modern Indian consumer wants quality, authentic recipes, and transparency. I started Homepick to fill this gap by showing exactly how our pickles are made, because the process defines the taste.

About this collection

We avoid shortcuts. While mass-produced brands rely on machine-dicing and industrial heat, we hand-shred our Rajapuri mangoes and sun-dry them over 10 to 12 days. That patience is the only way to get the texture and depth of flavor right, ensuring every jar actually tastes like it was made in a home kitchen.

Why The Process Matters

The Indian pickle market is flooded with mass-produced options that prioritize speed over substance. We believe the difference is in the details. When you mass-produce, you lose the texture. When you use industrial machines, you lose the integrity of the produce.

At our workshop, we treat our ingredients with respect. For our Gujarati Chhunda, that means manual shredding so the strands remain firm. For our mango pickles, it means using only Rajapuri mangoes because they hold their crunch and absorb the spice masala better than other varieties.

The Sun-Drying Ritual

Nature is our primary tool. We do not use industrial dehydrators. Instead, we follow the 10 to 12-day sun-drying ritual. We stir the batches daily, cover them at night, and wait for the sun to mature the flavors. This is not efficient, but it is necessary for the authentic taste you remember from your childhood.

We Are Not Perfect, But We Are Real

Running a small-batch brand comes with challenges. Sometimes, raw material quality fluctuates. Sometimes, we face production hiccups. When that happens, we are honest about it. We actively welcome feedback because it helps us refine our heirloom recipes. If you try our pickles and have a suggestion, tell us. We have built our brand around the idea that we can get better every single time, together with our community.

I started Homepick because I missed the real taste of home in the pickles I found on shelves. My team and I focus on traditional, slow methods—hand-peeling, hand-cutting, and sun-drying—because that is the only way to get the flavor right.
