About Artisanal Indian Preserves & Condiments
Why I Started Homepick
Honestly, most pickles out there taste the same. I wanted to bring back the real stuff - the kind you remember from your childhood, made with care, not shortcuts. For me, it's about sharing those old-school, ghar ka swaad (taste of home) moments that busy lives often miss.
How I Make My Preserves
- I stick to heirloom Indian pickle recipes, just like my dadi and nani (grandmothers) did.
- Only fresh, local produce goes in. For mango pickles, I use Rajapuri mangoes for that perfect bite.
- Everything is handmade in small batches. I cut veggies by hand, measure spices myself, and let the sun do its magic for natural sun-dried preserves.
- No artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. What you see is what you get.
What’s in the Jars
- Over 40 flavours, each with its own story. From sweet Gujarati Chhunda to fiery Andhra Avakkai, and even homemade amla murabba.
- Regional Indian chutneys and spicy thechas for those who like a little extra kick.
Health & Honesty
Pickles aren’t the villain if made right. Mine are full of natural goodness and can even help with digestion. I’m not perfect - sometimes there are hiccups with ingredients or batches, but I always keep it real and welcome feedback. My goal is simple: bring you the real taste of home, every time.

My Story
Hi, I’m Chintan. I started Homepick because those big brands? Same taste, same old mixed pickle. Being Gujarati, I missed those real ‘Gujju achars’ - every region has its own magic, na? We don’t rush - hand-peel, sun-dry for days, proper old-school style. Sometimes customers call and share their family recipes, and honestly, that’s the best part. We screw up, we learn, but it’s all about keeping those heirloom recipes alive with you.
My Work
Regional Flavours, Small Batch - We make over 40 varieties like Gujarati Chhunda pickle, Maharashtrian Thecha, chutneys, and syrups. All traditional.
Old-School Process - No shortcuts - hand-cut, sun-dried, no fake colours. Just honest, traditional sun-dried mango pickle and more.
Comfort Food, Anywhere - Our pickles bring home-cooked taste, whether you’re eating dal-chawal or packing for abroad.
Pickle Gift Box - Curated boxes of our pickles and syrups - a gift that actually stays, sparks memories.
We Listen, We Improve - Customers share ideas, even heirloom recipe chutney tips. We tweak, we get better, together.
