About Developing Bowlers
Bowling is 80% fitness and 20% skill. In our sessions, we focus heavily on the loading phase and core strength, using resistance parachutes and agility ladders to ensure your action remains efficient. Whether you are a fast bowler looking for that extra yard of pace or a spinner working on your flight, we break down your action frame by frame until it becomes second nature.
You cannot bowl fast if your body cannot handle the stress. At Homeground, we move away from standard net bowling to incorporate match-simulation drills. This means you are not just bowling at stumps, you are bowling with a purpose.
We focus on three main areas:

Technique & Action: Through video analysis, we identify technical flaws in your run-up or release point that might be causing injury or costing you speed. We do not change your natural action, we refine it.

Cricket-Specific Fitness: Using hurdles, resistance bands, and medicine balls, we build the explosive power required for fast bowling. If you are a spinner, we work on your core and shoulder stability to help you generate consistent revs on the ball.

Match Simulation: In our high-performance sessions, we put you in real match scenarios. You will practice bowling to set fields, dealing with pressure, and learning how to hit your yorker or length ball under stress.
