About Sharpening Your Bowling Attack
At our Andheri and Kurla nets, we don't just watch you bowl. We use side-arm throwers to simulate real match pace and video analysis to catch those micro-flaws in your run-up. Whether you are a spinner or a pacer, we focus on the small tweaks that make a delivery unplayable.
Bowling isn't about speed, it's about precision. If your rhythm is off, or your wrist position isn't consistent, you're giving the batsman an advantage. At Centurions Cricket Academy, we break down your bowling action step-by-step.
Our Approach to Bowling
- Technical Analysis: Using video feedback, I work with you to fix biomechanical errors. Whether it is your follow-through or your release point, we identify why the ball isn't going where you want it.
- Spot Bowling: We don't just bowl at nets; we bowl at targets. We use cones and specific drills to build accuracy, ensuring you can land the ball on the seam or the right area every single time.
- Simulation Training: We use side-arm throwers and bowling machines to practice against high-intensity deliveries, helping you get used to match pressure.
We train on both red soil wickets, which are great for grip and spin, and artificial turf for consistent pace work. Training happens year-round, rain or shine, at our facilities in Chitrakoot Ground, Andheri, and our main centre in Kurla.
Don't worry if you are struggling with your variations or feel your action isn't repeatable. That is what practice is for. Bring your focus, and we will handle the technique.
