Why I Started This Academy
Main Borivali-Kandivali ka ladka hoon (I’m from Borivali-Kandivali). Jab hum chote the (when we were young), kit bag leke bheed mein travel karna padta tha (had to travel in crowds with kit bags) just for 15-20 minute ka batting. I built this academy so local players get proper facilities and time to actually improve, not just survive.

If you’re serious about cricket, this is for you. We don’t do just net practice - we build professional cricketers from scratch. Our approach covers skill, body, and mind, so you’re ready for the real grind.
- Elite cricket coaching: Batting, fast bowling, spin, wicket-keeping, all covered with tech-based feedback.
- Cricket fitness training: Ladders, hurdles, resistance parachutes, and routines for speed and stamina. Sore today, stronger tomorrow.
- Mental toughness for athletes: Workshops on breathing, goal-setting, and handling pressure. Matches are won in the head.
Pathway to Big Leagues
Talent needs a stage. We run selection trials for all age groups. Our players compete in MCA tournaments like Kanga League, Bhaskar Trophy, and our own HGCA Cup. Scholarship kids train at ICC Abu Dhabi, and international stars like Brett Lee have practiced here. IPL teams like KKR also use our grounds.
My Dream
Mera sapna hai ki hamare bachhe Ranji, IPL, aur desh ke liye khele (My dream is our kids play Ranji, IPL, and for the country). If you’re ready for hard work, we’re here to back you.

My Story
Hi, we’re Homeground Cricket Academy, started by Paul Valthaty, ek Borivali-Kandivali ka ladka (boy from Borivali-Kandivali). Paul used to drag his kit bag to Churchgate for just a few minutes of batting, so he built this academy in Kandivali. We learned pitch-making from scratch, made sure our wickets are top class. Now, even IPL pros drop in. Our dream? Give kids here the chances Paul never had. Maybe one day, they’ll play for Mumbai or India.
My Work
Cricket coaching for every age - We train U-12 to Open age, with indoor and outdoor sessions for juniors and seniors.
Top-notch professional cricket pitches - Our wickets are famous - IPL players like Dinesh Karthik and Shubman Gill have trained here.
Cricket mental performance & fitness - We go beyond skills, working on focus, emotional control, and fitness for a winning mindset.
Real match experience in MCA Kanga League tournaments - Our players compete in major MCA events like Kanga League and Giles Shield for real exposure.
International cricket scholarship opportunities - Top students have trained at ICC Abu Dhabi, even practiced with England U-19 squads.
