About A World of Color: Painting Classes
I keep my batches small, usually between 4 and 8 students, so I can sit with you and personally guide your brushwork. Whether you are struggling with color mixing or need help with a stubborn palette knife texture, I am right there to correct your stroke as you paint, rather than just showing you the theory from a distance.
Painting is more than just applying color to canvas; it is about learning to see the world differently. At my academy, we move away from rigid, school-like structures. Instead, we focus on the meditative process of creating. When you join my painting sessions, you will not just finish a project; you will understand the why behind every layer.
We cover a broad spectrum—from the transparency of watercolours to the rich, thick texture of palette knife work and the depth of oil painting. For those who love bold, tactile art, I teach how to layer acrylics using a knife to create landscapes that practically pop off the canvas. If you prefer the classic feel, my oil painting sessions break down the complexities of shadows, light, and still-life composition into simple, manageable steps.
I do not believe in 'talent' as a prerequisite. I believe in practice and guidance. That is why I provide in-studio classes at Prabhadevi, Powai, and Thane. These are not lecture halls; they are working studios where you get to see others work, share ideas, and build confidence. Materials are provided for most sessions, so you do not need to hunt for supplies before you even know what you enjoy. Whether you are a senior looking for a creative outlet or a parent wanting to introduce your child to the joy of color, there is a space here for you to grow at your own pace.
