At Hastam, we believe the environment is the teacher. Step into our 5500 sqft campus on Kanakapura Road to see how our Montessori diploma program blends deep theory with a real, 200-hour classroom internship.

This is a moment that captures the heart of our community. One of our alumni returned not as a student, but to gently guide his little sister on her first day. This is the essence of Montessori: a supportive, mixed-age environment where learning and love are passed down.

Welcome to your future classroom. Our 5500 sqft campus is a fully equipped, prepared Montessori environment, not a simulation. You will learn and practice with these materials on low, accessible shelves, understanding how every detail is designed for a child's independent exploration.

As a guide, your role is not to instruct, but to connect. Here, a teacher shares a moment of discovery with a child using geometric shape insets. You will learn how to facilitate these joyful interactions that spark a child's natural curiosity and love for learning.

This is the beautiful hum of a Montessori classroom in motion. You will see children deeply engaged in their chosen work, from developing fine motor skills with tracing activities to understanding spatial relationships with cylinder blocks. This is the focused, self-directed learning you will learn to foster.

The Montessori approach makes abstract concepts concrete and beautiful. This student is exploring the decanomial square, a sensorial material that lays the foundation for understanding multiplication and geometry. Our diploma course dives deep into the genius of these math materials.

Our school on Kanakapura Road is a place where nature and learning meet. The entrance, with its name in both English and Kannada, reflects our connection to the local community and the natural, welcoming environment we cultivate for children and trainees alike.

One of the most valuable aspects of our classroom is the mixed-age group. Here, a four-year-old child naturally takes on the role of a mentor, helping a two-year-old with the knobbed cylinders. This interaction builds empathy, leadership, and a true sense of community.

Learning is a sensory experience. This child is using her stereognostic sense, the ability to identify objects by touch alone, while blindfolded. You will learn how to guide children through these powerful sensory explorations that refine their perception and build concentration.

About Featured

Unlike programs that keep you in a quiet room of adults, our 200-hour internship happens right here in our active, 2-6 year-old mixed-age environment. You will practice presentations with the actual materials children use every day, not on a simulated set, which means you learn to manage the real-world curiosity and messiness that makes Montessori teaching effective.
