Become a Certified Montessori Guide
Whether you want to start a professional teaching career, homeschool your kids, or simply become a more conscious parent, my blended Montessori diploma helps you master the art of gentle guidance.
This flyer details my comprehensive Montessori Teacher Training and Child Development program. It's a blended course combining online theory with offline practicals, designed to make you a job-ready, confident Montessori guide in just eight months.
I believe teaching is a choice of passion, not convenience. It requires a genuine love for children and a desire to make a difference. My program is for those who want to be more than just a teacher; it's for those who want to be a guide, an educator, and a lifelong learner.
Join my "Understand Montessori Basics" online workshop. This 2-hour session is a perfect introduction for homeschooling parents or anyone curious about the core principles of Montessori, covering everything from child development to the 5-point curriculum.
Here are the broad topics we cover in my introductory workshop. We'll discuss the Montessori methodology for the 2.5-6 year age group, sensitive periods, the curriculum, and practical ways to bring Montessori principles into your home.
In my program, you will learn what it means to be a Montessori guide. This series explains the unique and crucial role we play in a child's development, moving beyond traditional teaching to become observers, role models, and facilitators of learning.
A core part of my training is understanding why we are called 'guides'. We don't order or instruct; we gently guide the child through their own learning process, respecting their focus and interrupting only when necessary.
As guides, we are role models for the children. We demonstrate grace, courtesy, and a love for learning in everything we do, creating an environment of mutual respect where children feel safe and valued.
About this collection
Most training programs focus exclusively on theory, but Montessori is a practice that requires physical presence. My program is a hybrid model for a reason: you complete the theory online at your own pace, but you must join me for in-person practicals in BTM Layout. This is where you learn to set up a 'prepared environment', handle the materials, and master the art of observation—skills you simply cannot pick up from a textbook or video call.
Why 'Guide' Instead of 'Teacher'?
In the Montessori method, we don't 'instruct' or 'order'. We act as guides, carefully observing each child to see where they are in their development. My 8-month diploma isn't just about passing an exam; it’s about unlearning the traditional urge to control a classroom.
The Hybrid Structure
- Online Theory: Flexible modules that cover child psychology, sensitive periods, and the Montessori philosophy. This lets you learn the 'why' behind the method from the comfort of your home.
- Offline Practicals: Held at my school in BTM Layout, Bengaluru. This is non-negotiable for anyone serious about the craft. You will get hands-on time with the 5-point curriculum: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture.
- Internship: You will shadow real classes, observe how children interact with materials, and learn how to manage a mixed-age group.
Who is This For?
- Aspiring Educators: If you want a career in early childhood education, this program provides a pathway to become a job-ready guide.
- Homeschooling Parents: If you want to bring the calm and structure of a Montessori classroom into your own home, the foundational modules will change how you parent.
- Career Switchers: We focus on modern teaching skills, including IT basics for digital classrooms, so you are ready for the practical requirements of today’s schools.
After 13+ years in this field, I believe the best teachers are the ones who are willing to be learners themselves. We finish the course with interview preparation and job assistance, ensuring you step into your new role with confidence.
