My Photography Process and Creative Approach
Great photos happen when you forget I am holding a camera. Here is a look at how I work to capture the real stuff between the poses.
A behind the scenes look at how a beautiful portrait is made. This video shows me at work, followed by the stunning final photos, giving you a glimpse into the process of creating your memories.
Sometimes the smallest details tell the biggest story. This creative shot of the couple's hands forming a heart, with the bride's henna visible, is a simple yet powerful symbol of their love and union.
This is me, Harish Nair. Photography is my passion, and my goal is to capture your real moments and true emotions so you can cherish them forever.
About My Process & Creative Eye
I do not believe in forced smiles or stiff directions. My process revolves around creating a comfortable space where you can just be yourselves, whether that means laughing together at a park or sharing a quiet moment during your ceremony. I use prime lenses and natural light to stay in the background, waiting for those genuine reactions that make your story unique.
Photography is never just about pressing a button. It is about catching those small, real moments—the smiles, the silly laughs, and even the awkward hugs—so you can always look back and feel the same love.
My approach varies depending on the type of shoot. For pre-wedding sessions, we start by building a rapport. Whether you want a chilled vibe in a park or something cinematic in a studio with props, I am game. We focus on movement and interaction rather than static posing.
On the wedding day, I switch to a more observational mode. I have shot South Indian, North Indian, and Christian weddings, so I know how to anticipate rituals and traditions. I play around with light and mood to ensure your photos look dreamy but honest. My goal is for you to look at your album and think, “Yeh toh asli wala pyaar hai” (This is real love).
Technical choices matter, too. I use prime lenses to get that sharp focus on your expressions while blurring the background. For cinematic films, I incorporate sound and movement are key. I do not just record the event; I combine key moments and emotional audio to create a story that feels straight out of a movie. If you want memories that feel true, not posed, that is exactly what I deliver.
