About Wedding Day Couple Portraits
I don't just pose you and click. I prefer finding 15 minutes during your reception or just after the ceremony when we can step away from the crowd. This lets you breathe, share a real moment, and gives me the chance to capture those soft, intimate looks that you actually want on your wall, not just the formal stage shots.
The wedding day moves fast, and often, couples feel like they are being pulled in a dozen different directions. That is why these portraits are so important. They are your chance to hit pause.
My approach to couple portraits is simple: I give you enough direction to feel comfortable, but I never force a pose that does not feel like you. If you are a couple that laughs a lot, I want to capture that. If you are quieter, I want to photograph the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching.
We can use the venue to our advantage. Whether it is the grand decor of a ballroom in Mumbai or a quiet corner in a garden, I look for natural light and interesting textures to frame your story. We will work on a mix of:
- Candid moments: Where I document how you interact naturally.
- Soft-posed portraits: Where I guide you into flattering positions that still look relaxed and effortless.
I have experience shooting North Indian, South Indian, and Christian weddings, so I know exactly how to integrate these portraits into your day without disrupting the rituals. If you have a specific vision or a 'filmi' scene you have always wanted to recreate, let me know. We can plan the timing around your event flow so you get the photos you want without missing your own party.
