About Behind the Lens
Getting the perfect shot involves more than just clicking a button. It requires careful planning of lighting, choosing the right time for that sunrise glow, and guiding you through natural, candid poses. Whether we are shooting in a sugarcane field or on a railway platform, I focus on making the process feel comfortable and fun so that your true emotions shine through in the final frames.
Photography is an emotion for me, and the magic happens long before I press the shutter button. My process starts with a conversation about your vision, whether it is a mythological conceptual shoot or a candid pre-wedding session. I believe the environment tells half the story, so I actively scout locations that add depth to your portraits, from rural fields to urban train stations.
My Working Process
- Planning & Coordination: We start by discussing the color palette and outfit choices. Since I focus on cultural and cinematic styles, I often provide input on styling and coordination with makeup artists to ensure everything aligns.
- On-Shoot Direction: You do not need to be a model. I provide hands-on direction for facial expressions and body language. My goal is to capture 'arre, yeh toh kamaal hai!' moments where you look natural, not stiff.
- Technical Setup: For studio or conceptual shoots, I bring a full lighting kit, including strobes and color gels, to create dramatic shadows and depth. For outdoor sessions, I rely on my Sony mirrorless setup and 85mm prime lenses to achieve that signature background blur that separates the subject from the world.
Turnaround
I value your time. All images are professionally color-graded with a standard skin-cleaning edit. You can expect digital delivery of your high-resolution images within 7 to 10 days after the shoot. If we have done a conceptual shoot, you will also receive your cinematic reels within that timeline. Let's create something real.
