A Nurturing Studio for Children to Grow
We believe that where a child learns is just as important as what they learn. Our studio is designed to be a safe, happy second home where kids feel free to explore, create, and build lasting confidence.
This painting of laughing children on our wall perfectly captures the spirit of our studio. We believe joy and laughter are essential for learning.
A simple reminder in our studio to "Laugh Often." We believe in creating a positive and happy environment for every child.
Our gallery wall is filled with inspiring art and quotes that encourage creativity and celebrate individuality.
We practice gratitude every day. This little corner serves as a reminder to appreciate our journey and each other.
This artwork, showing a child opening a door to the universe, symbolizes our goal to open up a world of imagination for our students.
"We all think differently." This message is at the core of our philosophy. We celebrate every child's unique perspective and creative mind.
About A Nurturing Space to Grow
Beyond the curriculum, the physical environment at our Churchgate and Parel studios is intentionally designed to lower anxiety. We maintain small batch sizes of 8 to 12 children and use soft, encouraging visual cues to ensure every child feels safe enough to take their first step towards speaking up.
When we started Happy Kidds 20 years ago, we knew that a sterile classroom would not work for speech and drama. We wanted a sanctuary. Children often walk in feeling shy or hesitant, and the environment they step into plays a huge role in how quickly they open up.
Our studios in Churchgate and near Lal Baug, Parel, are not just about walls and chairs. We have incorporated specific elements to shift the mindset from academic pressure to creative freedom. From the 'Laugh Often' reminders to art that celebrates unique perspectives, every corner is designed to reduce the fear of judgment. This matters because confidence is fragile, especially in the early years. When a child sees a space that feels like a playground, their natural curiosity takes over, making it much easier for them to participate in role-play or public speaking exercises.
We limit our batches to 8-12 children to ensure that no child gets lost in the crowd. This size allows us to give personal attention to each student, ensuring that even the quietest child finds their voice. Whether it is through our foundation speech and drama program for 3-6 year olds or our advanced communication workshops, the goal remains the same. We want your child to feel that this is a place where they are seen, heard, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
