Learning Through Play & Laughter
Education should not feel like a chore. At my Rajouri Garden centre, we use laughter and interactive play to help children build confidence, social skills, and a genuine love for learning, one game at a time.
A teacher's bond with her students is built on love and trust. We played a little game where I had to guess which student was speaking just by their voice. These moments of fun and connection are just as important as any lesson.
The 5-second rule game in action. This rapid-fire activity is a fun way to improve quick thinking and speaking skills under pressure, all while having a great time.
Learning about expressions with our youngest students. Using picture books, this little one identifies and mimics feelings like "happy," "sad," and "scared," building emotional literacy in a playful way.
A behind-the-scenes look at our creative speaking class. You can see students sitting on the floor, fully engaged and raising their hands, eager to participate in the activity.
A funny and relatable moment between a teacher and student. Laughter is a huge part of our classroom culture, creating a space where children feel comfortable and happy.
That proud moment when a student solves all the questions without any help. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, which builds confidence and a love for learning.
A humorous look at classroom dynamics. These lighthearted moments show the fun and playful energy that makes our institute a place where kids want to be.
When the teacher is away, the fun begins. Capturing these candid moments of joy and friendship is a reminder that childhood is about making happy memories.
Learning meets imagination as our students pretend to be robots. Role-playing activities like this make learning creative and incredibly fun.
Whether online or offline, our sessions are always interactive. Here you can see me engaging with a student on screen, ensuring personalized attention no matter the format.
About Learning Through Play & Laughter
Parents often ask me how I balance academics with so much laughter. The truth is, when a child is engaged in a game, their defense mechanisms drop. Whether it is a 5-second rapid-fire drill to build quick thinking or a simple role-play activity to identify emotions, these moments aren't breaks from learning. They are how we teach children to think on their feet, express themselves without fear, and stay curious long after the session ends.
At Nidhi’s Learning Institute, I believe that if a child is having fun, they are retaining information. We move away from the traditional model of 'sit, listen, memorize' and instead create an environment that feels more like a playground for the mind.
Why Play Matters
Children absorb more when they are comfortable. My sessions—whether in-person at Rajouri Garden or conducted online—are designed to take that pressure off. We use karaoke to practice pronunciation, role-play to build social empathy, and improv games to sharpen vocabulary. By turning tasks into challenges and achievements into mini-celebrations, we build a foundation of confidence.
Our Approach
- Wabi-Sabi in Practice: We do not chase perfect test scores. If a child makes a mistake, we see it as a stepping stone. A crossed-out answer in an assignment is a sign of effort and learning, not failure.
- Small Group Dynamics: In our batches of 6-10, every child has space to speak. This ensures that even the shyest child gets the attention needed to find their 'awaaz' (voice).
- Hybrid Flexibility: We bring this interactive energy to students across Delhi NCR, whether they join us for offline sessions or participate through our engaging online modules.
Learning at NLI is about equipping your child with skills for tomorrow—critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and the courage to articulate their ideas. Let your child just be, and you will be amazed at what they can achieve.
Nidhi Longani
I'm Nidhi. I believe children aren't projects to be perfected; they are individuals to be nurtured. My classes are spaces where we celebrate Wabi-Sabi—finding beauty in mistakes—and where your child learns to speak, think, and grow with confidence, not pressure.
