We started this because we were tired of 'healthy' food that tasted like cardboard. I am a nutritionist, and Akash is an engineer, and we wanted to bring back the comfort of ghar ka khana without compromising on nutrition, so we built happyGrub to make sure you never have to choose between a good diet and good taste.
It all started a decade ago with just 10 customers, half of whom were friends we bribed with free meals. Today, we have delivered over 100,000 meals across Mumbai. Our philosophy is simple: fresh, 100% vegetarian ingredients, cooked in small batches to keep that home-style taste intact.
Because I am a nutritionist, every recipe is designed to be nutrient-dense without the typical 'diet food' label. We focus on real ingredients, not preservatives or artificial fillers.
