Behind the Scenes: The Transformation
The journey to your final look is just as important as the result itself. Here is a look at my step-by-step process.

About Behind the Scenes: The Transformation
I do not just pin hair in place. Before you see the final style, I focus on the foundation. This means specific texturing and crimping to create the grip needed for heavy jewelry and dupatta pinning. If you watch my process, you will notice I use padding and U-pins to ensure your hair stays secure through a full night of dancing.
My work involves careful preparation to ensure every hairstyle stands up to a long day of events. In Mumbai, the humidity can be a challenge, so I start with specialized products and techniques to lock in volume. For a Mehendi or Sangeet function, this usually involves texturing the hair first to create a solid base, whether it is for a sleek ponytail or a soft, romantic updo.
When I work with heavy bridal jewelry like a matha patti or a heavy veil, the foundation is everything. I hide high-quality fillers and padding to match your hair tone, which gives volume without looking artificial. My process also involves setting your hair with humidity-resistant sprays so your style does not fall flat under bright stage lights or outdoor heat. I believe that being transparent about this work helps you understand why your style stays in place from the start of your function until the very last dance. Whether you need a traditional khopa for a ceremony or loose, Hollywood-style waves for a reception, I apply this same structural approach to keep you looking your best.
