About Playful & Intricate Braids
Braids need to hold up through all the movement during your Mehendi or Haldi, so I focus on building a strong, invisible anchor. Whether we are weaving in shells for a boho vibe or fresh mogras for a traditional look, my braiding technique is designed to stay secure and comfortable without pulling, so you can focus on the celebration instead of your hair.
For me, a great braid is all about the foundation. Before I start weaving, I use specialized crimping and texturizing sprays to give the hair the grip it needs. This ensures your style—whether it is a mermaid braid, a bubble braid, or a soft fishtail—doesn't slip or go flat after a few hours of dancing.
I treat accessories as part of the structure, not just an add-on. If you want colorful threads, seashells, or fresh flowers, I integrate them directly into the braid so they move with you. This creates a clean, cohesive look rather than just pinning things on top.
My boho styling process involves careful pulling and loosening techniques to get that thick, matte, textured finish that looks great in candid photos.
