About Behind The Scenes
Most people see the final photo, but the real magic is in the foundation. I use humidity-resistant lacquer and structural padding to ensure your hairstyle holds for 12+ hours, regardless of the Mumbai weather. Whether it is a heavy Nauvari saree drape or a delicate Maang Tikka placement, I secure every element so you can dance, laugh, and celebrate without worrying about a hair out of place.
I started my journey with a deep love for the traditional Marathmola look, but my work has evolved into a mix of classic traditions and modern techniques. When you see me in these images, you are seeing the prep that happens before you even pick up your outfit.
For my brides, I focus on what I call 'technical beauty.' This means making sure heavy headgear like the Nath or Mundavalya is secured with the right thread and pin technique, so it does not slip during rituals. If you are looking for soft glam makeup or textured waves, I follow the same rule: keep it natural, keep it glowy, and ensure it lasts all night.
I also believe in sharing the craft, which is why I run hairstyling masterclasses for aspiring artists. It is incredibly rewarding to teach the next generation how to pin a perfect bun or create waves that do not fall flat by the end of the evening.
Whether I am prepping a bride in Mumbai or traveling across India, my priority remains the same: you should feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself. My goal is to make sure your look survives the longest wedding ceremonies while looking fresh in every single photo.
