Hey guys, here I am working on a floral abstract commission piece. The client requested a muted color palette, and I'll be adding lots of texture with lines and dots later on. I can't wait to show you the final look.

About Floral & Nature-Inspired Art
When I work on a floral commission, I do not just start painting. We always begin by narrowing down a color palette to match your room’s existing decor. This ensures that the final piece feels like it naturally belongs in your home rather than just being a decorative add-on.
My approach to floral art is deeply collaborative. Many clients come to me with a vision of a vibrant garden or a muted botanical theme but are not sure how it fits their walls. That is why the first step is always a consultation where we discuss the lighting, furniture fabrics, and overall color scheme of your room.
For these pieces, I love experimenting with layers. You will often find me using texture paste to create depth before I even touch the brush. I layer dots, dashes, and intricate line work over the florals to create that tactile, dimensional quality. Whether it is a small 12x12 inch textured panel for a corridor or a 4-foot statement canvas for a living room, I treat the process with the same level of care.
We usually start with a rough sketch or a physical swatch to test the colors. If something feels off, we tweak it until it is right. My goal is to create a piece that feels lived-in, whether you prefer the boldness of a modern abstract garden or the softness of delicate petals. Every painting is sealed with high-quality UV-resistant varnish to protect it from Mumbai’s humidity, so it stays fresh for years to come.
