About Specialty Art Workshops & Events
Why We Do What We Do
Art isn’t just for classrooms or pros. At Grahin Art Institute, we believe anyone can jump in and make something beautiful, even if you’ve never held a brush before. Our specialty workshops and events are all about giving you a taste of creativity, no matter your age or skill.
Ganpati Workshops: Our Heartbeat
For 13 years, our eco-friendly Ganpati idol making sessions have brought families together. We use 'Shadu Mati' (organic clay) and show you step-by-step how to sculpt your own idol. Don’t worry if you’re new - our sculptors guide you, and I always remind folks, “isko merge acchi tarah se karo” (merge this properly). All materials are provided, and you can join us in person or online.
Summer Camps: Art-O-Holic Fun
Kids (4-14) love our summer art camps for kids. Five days, five different art forms - painting, crafting, sculpting, printing. It’s messy, lively, and full of surprises. Every day is something new, so boredom doesn’t stand a chance.
Creating Together: Festivals & Outdoor Tours
We pop up at local art festivals with family art workshops and quick creative sessions. Sometimes, we take students out for outdoor sketching tours, letting them draw landscapes right in nature. It’s a break from routine and a chance to see art everywhere.
Annual Exhibition: Celebrate Your Journey
Our community art exhibitions are open to all. We showcase everything our students make, from doodles to masterpieces. It’s a proud moment for us and a big inspiration for anyone who loves art. We guide with 'prem' (love) and 'aatmiyata' (belonging), and everyone’s welcome to join the celebration.

My Story
Hi, I’m the founder of Grahin Art Institute. Art for me? It’s everything - passion, creativity, peace. Started this place in 2011, wanted anyone (literally anyone!) to feel the magic. Seen kids giggle about ‘garam’ colours, elders call themselves ‘Grahin ka ek varshaacha baal’ (a one-year-old baby of Grahin). We mess with shadu maati in Ganpati workshops, laugh at thin Bappa hands. It’s not just textbooks, it’s real expression, real community. That’s what keeps me going.
My Work
All kinds of art, all kinds of people - We teach Foundation, Hobby, Fine Arts Diploma, JJ entrance exam coaching, and art for toddlers, kids, seniors.
Art for everyone, really - Classes open to 4 to 70+ years, super friendly vibes, lots of love - no self-doubt here.
Learning beyond textbooks - Live sketching, outdoor study tours, pottery and shadu maati workshops. Find your style, not just copy.
A creative community - Join Grahin, join our family. Celebrate together - workshops, annual art exhibition, lots of color and canvas.
