My performance history spans a wide variety of settings, each requiring a different approach to Hindustani classical music. A baithak requires closeness, where the audience is seated nearby, and the focus is on the micro-movements of the raag. In these settings, I often play solo or with a single tabla accompanist, allowing for spontaneous improvisation that reacts to the energy in the room.

For larger events like weddings or corporate functions, the dynamics change. Here, I often bring a fusion ensemble, incorporating the bansuri or additional percussion to fill the space without losing the classical soul of the composition. These performances are designed to be melodic and celebratory, serving as a backdrop that brings harmony to the event.

I also dedicate time to healing music. I have performed at health centers and wellness gatherings, specifically selecting ragas known for their calming and therapeutic properties. These sessions are purely acoustic and meditative.
