Music has a way of reaching where words fail. I use the vibrations of the sitar to create a space of calm for patients, caregivers, and anyone seeking a moment of peace.

The official announcement for our 'Svaropachara' therapeutic concert. I performed a Hindustani classical sitar duet with my student Prateeksha to promote music therapy for patients and staff.

Performing at the Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation. The goal of 'Svaropachara' is to use the soothing sounds of classical music as a form of healing and comfort.

A moment of gratitude. Being felicitated after the 'Svaropachara' performance. It is a privilege to use my music to contribute to such a meaningful cause.

My student and I being honored after our duet performance at the Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation. It was a deeply fulfilling experience for both of us.

Receiving a token of appreciation for our musical service. Events like these remind me of the power of music to connect and heal our community.

About Sitar for Healing & Community

When I perform for healing, the goal is not to entertain, but to ground the listener. I focus on specific, time-tested ragas that encourage deep breathing and stillness. We do not use heavy, jarring amplification, keeping the sound acoustic and gentle so it remains soothing rather than overwhelming for the listeners, whether in a hospital auditorium or a quiet wellness space.
