Poodle, Doodle & Cockapoo Grooming
Curly and wavy coats need more than just a quick trim. I focus on gentle, comfort-first styling that keeps your Poodle, Doodle, or Cockapoo looking great without the stress.
Ace the Doodle didn't come to play, he came to slay. His fluffy, textured coat was styled to perfection, leaving him camera-ready.
This Poodle's haircut is a work of art. With a little magic from my scissors, we fixed up his leg hair to create a balanced and stylish look.
Meet Coco the Cockapoo, who has the fluff of a Poodle but the structure of a Cocker Spaniel. We gave her a custom cut that complements her unique mix.
Another shot of Coco the Cockapoo, this time with a cute topknot. This is a great way to keep hair out of their eyes while adding a touch of style.
Coco the Poodle looking absolutely perfect after her groom. A well-shaped head and clean lines are the hallmarks of a great Poodle cut.
This is Snoopy the Poodle before his haircut. Even with his wiggles, we managed to give him a fantastic new look.
Snoopy's after look. With patience and quick, calm sessions, we can turn even the most energetic pup into a well-groomed gentleman.
Grooming doesn't have to be stressful. This little one is enjoying a gentle bath, the first step in a relaxing spa day.
Hugo the Poodle came in with some bad tangles. We prioritized his comfort, carefully detangling and giving him a shorter, more manageable style. He looks handsome and feels so much better.
Another look at Hugo's transformation. A shorter cut is often the best solution for dogs with tangled coats, allowing us to start fresh with a healthy grooming routine.
About Poodle, Doodle & Cockapoo Styles
If your pet arrives with tight mats, I won't spend hours painfully brushing them out just for a specific look. My priority is always a pain-free experience, so I'll recommend a fresh, comfortable shave to start over. Once we have a blank slate, we can work together on a simple home-maintenance routine so it doesn't happen again.
Managing a Poodle, Doodle, or Cockapoo coat is a partnership. These breeds have beautiful, high-maintenance hair that loves to tangle. Whether you want the classic Poodle puff, a scruffy Teddy Bear look for your Cockapoo, or a functional trim for your Doodle, the goal is always a manageable, healthy coat that doesn't pull on the skin.
My Approach to Curly Coats
- Hand-Scissoring vs. Clipping: I use precise hand-scissoring to shape the face and legs, ensuring that 'fluffy' look is balanced and practical, not just aesthetic.
- Detangling Reality Check: If your pet is heavily matted, detangling is painful. I will be honest with you about whether a brush-out is safe or if a fresh start is kinder for your dog.
- Adaptable Styles: Your pet’s personality dictates the groom. If they are anxious, I slow down, use low-stress handling, and might opt for a quicker style to keep the experience positive.
Why Routine Matters in Bengaluru
Living in a city like Bengaluru, humidity and heat can make coats prone to tangling. I don't just groom and send you away. I’ll show you exactly how to brush at home, what tools to use for your specific mix, and how to manage those tricky paw pads and ear canals between visits. Think of your salon session as a reset button, and your home care as the maintenance that makes the next visit easier for your dog.
