When I say I get attached to the dogs who board with me, this is what I mean. Toffee was off-leash in a safe area and chose to come back for cuddles instead of running off. It's all about the bond.

My boarding setup is strictly capped at two dogs, so your pet is never lost in a noisy, crowded environment. They get full, uninterrupted access to my living room and home, meaning their routine stays steady and they avoid the confinement stress often found in traditional kennels.
When you drop your dog off, my goal isn't just to keep them safe—it's to make sure they feel at home. Because I limit my boarding capacity to only two dogs at a time, every guest gets individualized attention. We spend our days with slow-paced 'sniffaris' on long leashes, giving them the chance to explore the neighborhood at their own speed, which is a massive help for decompressing. Indoors, it is all about settling down. Your dog will have access to the full apartment, whether that means curling up on the sofa while I work or finding a cool spot on the floor to nap in the afternoon.
Being a certified canine behaviorist, I also pay close attention to the subtle cues dogs give when they are uncomfortable. If a dog is anxious about noise or just needs extra reassurance, I have the experience to adjust our daily rhythm to meet their specific needs. I don't believe in magic tricks or quick fixes to make a dog 'behave'; I believe in creating an environment where they naturally feel secure. This is exactly why I require a mandatory trial stay for all new clients. It is the best way to see how your dog reacts to the home, how they settle in at night, and to make sure we are a perfect match before a longer booking.
