Home-Style Dog Boarding and Care in Bengaluru
Getting to know your dog means everything to me. These are some of my favorite moments—snapshots of trust, silly quirks, and happy tails in my home-style boarding setup.
This is Luffy, a sweet rescue boy, making himself right at home. My goal is to create a space where every dog, no matter their background, can relax this deeply and feel completely safe and comfortable.
Building trust is everything. This is me holding hands with Kulfi, who is usually quite nervous around new people. Moments like these are my biggest reward and show how patience and understanding can help even the most anxious pups feel secure.
Meet Grey, a sassy and sweet girl who knows how to have fun. From playtime in the garden to relaxing walks, I make sure every day is filled with enriching activities tailored to your dog's energy levels and preferences.
A true home-style boarding experience means your dog gets to enjoy all the comforts of home, including chilling on a comfy chair for a movie night. Here's Luffy proving that relaxation is a top priority.
Here I am with a furry friend on one of our adventures. Putting a face to the name is important to me, so you know exactly who is caring for your beloved pet with so much love and dedication.
This is the happy face of Coffee, a gorgeous boy, after a good play session. Seeing dogs this content and relaxed in my care is what it's all about.
Open communication is the key to great care. This is a glimpse into the important details I need to know to ensure your dog's stay is safe, comfortable, and stress-free.
About this collection
The biggest difference I’ve noticed is how much a dog’s personality opens up when they aren't in a kennel. Whether it’s a rescue like Luffy needing his space or a sassy girl like Grey wanting to chase pigeons, my home in Mavallipura is set up to follow their pace, not mine. I don’t just watch dogs; I learn their individual rhythm—from the specific way they like their treats to the cues they give when they're anxious—which is why I insist on a meet-and-greet before any stay to ensure your dog feels like a guest, not a boarder.
Why I Choose Home-Style Boarding
My place is a home, not a facility. When I look after your dog, I prioritize a routine that mimics the one they have at home. This means meals, walks, and nap times happen as they are used to. By keeping the environment consistent—no cages, just couches and rugs—I find that even anxious dogs settle in much faster.
How I Manage Different Personalities
Every dog is a different story. I have experience with:
- Rescues and Anxious Pups: These dogs often need time to decompress. I use 'thoda samay aur pyaar' (a little extra time and love), giving them space to approach me on their own terms.
- Reactive or High-Energy Dogs: For dogs that need extra help managing triggers, I provide structured, solo walks and dedicated zones where they can feel secure away from other pack members.
- Social Pups: For the social butterflies, I arrange supervised play sessions with other guests, ensuring interactions are always safe and controlled.
The Importance of the Meet-and-Greet
I never skip the first meeting. It allows me to learn the 'real stuff'—your dog's triggers, quirks, and health needs. Whether your dog is a 'yeller' at passersby or a quiet couch potato, this session helps me understand them before you even pack their bags. It’s the best way to ensure there is no stress when the time comes for you to leave.
Aditi
Hi, I'm Aditi. For the last three years, I've run She By The Snout with one goal: making sure your pet feels like they're staying with a friend, not a facility. I’m a student of animal behavior, which means I handle every dog—from the energetic pups to the nervous rescues—by listening to what they actually need.
