Cage-Free Dog Boarding in Bangalore

I provide a calm, home environment for your dog, not a kennel. No cages, no separation, just couch time and consistent routines while you are away.

An important skill for any dog is learning the art of doing nothing. Here, a beagle guest learns to relax and just be present with me, showing that my presence doesn't always have to mean high excitement.

My husband is often the favorite human for our boarding dogs. Here is some footage of him giving treats and affection, showing how your dog becomes a true part of our family during their stay.

This picture captures a typical day here: a Golden Retriever, a Beagle, and another Beagle all sharing the space calmly. I manage introductions carefully so everyone feels safe and can relax together.

Training isn't just about commands; it's about integrating dogs into our daily routines. Here, a dog learns to stay calm on the couch while I prepare food, a small but important moment of learning.

This close-up of a happy, relaxed dog getting a chin scratch says it all. I make sure every dog who stays with me gets plenty of one-on-one affection and feels completely at ease.

It's so important for dogs, especially puppies, to learn how to settle down. I spend quiet time with them, teaching them that it's okay to just relax and enjoy the calm moments together.

About this collection

Before we confirm any stay, every new guest must complete a mandatory 24-hour trial. This isn't just a policy—it’s how I ensure your dog actually feels safe in my space and around my resident dogs before you commit to a longer vacation. It helps me spot early signs of separation anxiety or reactivity so we can manage them properly, rather than just hoping for the best while you are away.

I started Furry Story because I saw too many dogs come back from traditional kennels stressed and shut down. My home is different because your dog lives with me, not in a run or a separate room. Whether I am cooking, reading, or working, they are right there with me, learning how to be calm in a real household environment.

Why my approach is different:

  • Capacity Control: I limit boarding to a maximum of two dogs at a time. This ensures each guest gets genuine one-on-one attention and helps me manage introductions for a safe, parallel existence.
  • Sniffaris & Decompression: I don't believe in rushed walks. We take long-leash 'sniffaris' that allow your dog to explore at their own pace, which is the best way to reduce stress for apartment dogs.
  • Behaviorist Oversight: Since I am a certified behaviorist, I watch for more than just physical health. If your dog struggles with noise triggers, separation, or fear, I use specific protocols—like soothing audio or environment management—to help them settle.

The Boarding Routine

Your dog will follow a structured but relaxed schedule. We integrate them into my daily routines, teaching them the 'art of doing nothing.' If they have specific medical needs or require medication, I handle that personally. You will receive daily WhatsApp reports with videos of their enrichment activities, so you know exactly how they are settling in. This is not just a place to leave your dog; it is a space for them to thrive while you travel.

Hi, I’m Twisha. My home is where I live with my own dogs, Mia and Bagheera, and it’s where your dog will stay too. I’m a certified behaviorist, which means I don't just watch your dog; I understand why they do what they do and help them stay calm while you’re away.
