Newborn Detail Photography
Before you know it, they will be walking. I am here to freeze those fleeting, tiny moments—the curled toes, soft fists, and sleepy yawns—so you can hold onto this perfect beginning.

About The Tiniest Details
These macro shots of tiny hands and feet do not happen by luck. They require a calm, quiet environment where your baby feels completely safe. In my studio in Santacruz, I work slowly, allowing plenty of time for feeding and soothing between frames, ensuring we capture those peaceful details without ever rushing your little one.
When you have a newborn, the days blur together. You are busy with feeding, soothing, and just trying to survive the lack of sleep. It is easy to miss how incredibly small they are right now. My goal with these detail-focused sessions is to freeze time. I focus on the textures and features that change the fastest: the velvet skin of their heels, the way their fingers grip yours, and the quiet, peaceful expression they only have when they are fast asleep.
Why the process matters
Newborn photography is not just about the shot. It is about patience. If a baby is hungry, we stop. If they need to be changed, we take a break. My studio setup in Santacruz is temperature-controlled to keep your baby cozy, and I use soft, natural lighting to highlight their delicate features without harsh shadows.
What we focus on
- Tiny Anatomy: We capture the classic 'baby-in-hands' shots, focus on toes, fingers, and those perfect, tiny ears.
- Expression: Even in the first few weeks, babies make distinct faces. I wait for those rare, sleepy smiles or the moment they stretch.
- Connection: While these are detail shots, I often include parents' hands to show scale and the bond of protection. It serves as a reminder of how safe they are in your care.
These sessions are designed for the very first few weeks of life. Because babies are most comfortable and sleepy during this time, we can pose them gently without fuss. Whether you choose a high-key, bright aesthetic or a more dramatic, dark backdrop, the focus remains entirely on your little one.
Wigglebum Infant Photography
Hi, I am Krishna. To me, a baby’s tiny yawn or a little finger wrapped around yours is the biggest story in the room. I do not believe in rushing a shoot. I will follow your baby's lead, whether that means a little extra time for feeding or just a quiet cuddle before we snap the next shot.
