It's All in the Details: Newborn Macro Photography

This collage is a beautiful way to remember all the little things. It combines a full portrait with close-ups of the baby's hands, feet, lips, and ears, creating a complete story of their newborn features.
A black and white collage is another one of my favorite ways to showcase details. It highlights the textures of their skin and hair, and the sweet expressions they make, awake or asleep.

These macro shots aren't just extra photos; they are the specific memories you will treasure most as your baby grows. During these sessions, I focus on a calm, temperature-controlled environment in my Goregaon studio to keep your baby settled, ensuring we capture those pouty lips and tiny toes without any rush or stress.
When I talk about 'the details,' I mean the things that seem so small but define this stage of your baby's life. The curve of an ear, the way their fingers curl around your thumb, or the delicate texture of their skin—these change within weeks. That is why I highly recommend scheduling your session within the first 15 to 20 days. At this age, babies are still very sleepy and flexible, which is perfect for these quiet, intimate close-ups.
My studio setup is designed for this. I use soft, natural lighting to highlight features rather than washing them out, often switching to black and white for these portraits to remove distractions and focus entirely on the subject. Whether it is a solo shot of a tiny foot or your hand holding their chin, the goal is always the same: comfort and safety. I always have a spotter assistant with me to ensure your little one is secure in every pose, even when we are focused on the minute details.
Because I limit the number of sessions I take, I can give each shoot the time it needs for feeding and settling. We do not rush. If the baby needs a cuddle or a break, we take it. You end up with professional, high-resolution images that freeze that newborn phase exactly as it was.
